The unlikely but successful duo of the Independent Filmmaker’s Project (IFP) and Calvin Klein are back again and on the road together. They are now involved with The Gotham Independent Film Awards, which is taking place on Monday, November 28th at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC.
New to the award event and sure to be brought back annually, is the ‘Live the Dream’ grant for women filmmakers. This brainstorm coincides with Calvin Klein´s Spotlight on Women Filmmakers that was introduced in Cannes. One recipient will obtain a cash award of $25,000, with participation open to alumnus of IFP’s Independent Filmmaker Labs.
People are still talking about some of Hollywood’s biggest stars coming out for the Calvin Klein Euphoria party featuring women in film at the Cannes Film Festival last spring.
Natalia Vodianova (the face of Calvin Klein Euphoria perfume), Vanessa Hudgens, Diane Kruger, Rosario Dawson, and Uma Thurman were just a few of the celebrities at in attendance.
The IFP and Calvin Klein will continue with their formula to recognition of the film industry´s finest.
