A new film began production with the lovely red-haired beauty, Julianne Moore. "The English Teacher" is a comedy about a beloved high school English teacher, played by Moore.
Moore portrays the character as one with a repressed personal life, unknowing to her students. In fact, her personal life is in stark contrast compared to the enthusiasm she brings to the classroom. She has the gift to make dreamers into doers.
The teacher´s life is uprooted and takes a different turn for her when one of her favorite former students returns from New York City as a failed playwright.
She convinces her former protege to showcase his non-produced play at the high school and the fireworks begin with more drama than the teacher has ever experienced and taking on more than she bargained for.
The film also co-stars Nathan Lane. Michael Angarano and Greg Kinnear with a release date sometime in March 2012.
